Meet another one of the great teams joining us for our open day on Saturday 6th September between 10am - 2pm.

Meet the next team joining us for our open day on the 6th September between 10am -2pm.
Richard and Ian will be joining us from Dignity Fleet with their private ambulance and will answer any questions and bust any myths when it comes to transporting the deceased before the funeral.

Bore da lovers of stwff! I'm here at Emstrey Crematorium and Cemetery in Shrewsbury today - I need some guinea pigs to taste test some experiments I've been meaning to try out for ages:

🥐 Stwffed PBJ - One of our freshly baked buttery croissants, smothered with crunchy peanut butter and rasbo jam.
👑 Fools Gold Loaf - Or, my take on it at least. Bonus points are available if you let me know in the comments what it is!

I also have bacon stwffed pretzel buns today, along with sossy rolls, and cheese and onion slices. Plus, of course, the usual selection of hot drinks.

On our open day our charity partner for 2025 the Severn Hospice will be joining us talking about all the great things they do with in Shropshire and the surrounding area. To help raise vital funds we will be showcasing our charity organ so please come along grab a coffee, take a seat and enjoy the traditional organ music and maybe pop a few coins into the charity tub if you're able.

Victory over Japan Day (VJ Day) marks the day Japan surrendered on 15 August 1945, which ended the Second World War.
