Time Out Massage and Movement

Time Out Massage and Movement I’m Helen — your nerdy Brain-Body Detective in Sittingbourne 🕵️‍♀️
Helping you move better, feel better… and finally shift that stubborn pain 🧠➡️💪

Not your usual treatment…

We don’t just jump straight in.

We look at how you move.
We test things.
We find what your system actually responds to.

And if it doesn’t change anything… we ditch it.

It might look a bit different…
but your body quite likes it.

🕵️‍♀️🧠➡️💪

If you’ve got something that just won’t shift,
or you’ve been dealing with a longer-term issue…
have a little look via the link in my bio 👆

Same dog. 5 weeks apart.
Send help… and lots of food 😅

This used to feel easy…

Not so much now.

If that sounds familiar, I can help.

Happy Easter 🐣

I’ll be over here skipping the hot cross buns and choosing croissants instead 😂

If the long weekend has left you feeling a bit stiff, achy or just not quite right, I’m back in the cabin next week.

Feel free to drop me a message if you want to chat about anything that’s been hanging around 🧠➡️💪

No two people present the same, which is why every treatment is tailored to the individual.

This isn’t a one-size-fits-all approach, and it isn’t about quick fixes. It’s about
assessing, trying different inputs and reassessing.

It’s great to see the improvements build. The aim is always the same: less pain, easier movement and getting you back to doing what matters.

“Not sure what you did… but it worked.”

That’s one of my favourite bits of feedback this week.

Sometimes it’s not about doing more…
It’s about finding the right input for your system.

🔍 That’s the detective work.

I’ve got 2 spaces for new clients over the next couple of weeks.

If something feels a bit off and you’re not sure why…
now’s a good time to get it looked at and see if I can help.

🧠➡️💪 CASE SOLVED!

This knee wasn’t the only part of the story…
so we followed the clues and checked a few other places too.

Once the system felt more organised,
that “hurty knee” started to behave again. This is training!

That’s Brain–Body Detective work —
looking beyond the obvious and letting your body and brain show us what they need.

🕵️‍♀️ Brain–Body Detective Mode: ON 🧠➡️💪

Ever had a knee that aches, nags or feels a bit “off”… even though nothing looks swollen or injured?

Sometimes the real clue isn’t in the knee at all… 👀

Something interesting showed up in this week’s case —
and it led us in a completely different direction than expected.

Tune in to see what helped this knee finally settle down.

Back and neck tension was the main reason for this appointment, but assessment highlighted another relevant factor that we were able to address.

This is why assessment matters — it allows treatment to focus on what will make the biggest difference, not just what feels tight.

The aim is always the same:
less pain, easier movement and supporting a return to normal function.

Meet Villanelle 🐾💛
We call her Nelle for short.

New clinic assistant.
Current responsibilities include:
supervising the garden, growing into her giant paws, and regulating the household nervous system.

At 10kg at 9 weeks old, she’s also the reason I have to keep going to the gym 💪😆

She is not allowed in the treatment room — even if you ask nicely.

I get the feeling my clients will want to see her more than me… 😂

Sometimes you come in with one painful area and we uncover a few more pieces of the puzzle along the way — and that’s completely normal.

Looking at the whole person, not just the sore spot, is often where the biggest changes begin.

We’re not chasing a “quick fix” — we’re looking for a shift.
Less pain.
Easier movement.
A body that feels more like yours again.

That first change tells us we’re moving in the right direction and gives us a plan to build

Whether you feel like you’ve tried everything or you’re just getting started — you’re in the right place 💙

Today’s clinic comment:

“My customers said I’m standing differently and walking differently…
I told them I’ve been to see a witch doctor” 🧙‍♀️

I’ll take that.

No forcing.

Just helping the nervous system feel safer
→ which changes movement
→ which people notice.

This is why I do what I do.

For people who’ve “tried everything” and still feel stuck.

🧘‍♀️Wobbly in class? You’re not broken — your balance systems just need a little team talk 😅🧘‍♀️

Your brain, eyes and body love to work together… sometimes they just forget how.
That’s where the detective work comes in 🕵️‍♀️

Let’s get those systems back in harmony — so you can move, breathe and balance with confidence again and continue your glorious journey with style!
