Today, on Christmas Day, I went and laid flowers on Mum and Dad’s grave 🤍

A quiet moment. A deep breath. A little word in my heart to say I love you and I miss you, just as much today as ever.

Christmas can be full of sparkle and noise, but it can also carry a softer side — one that holds memories, empty chairs, familiar voices we’d give anything to hear again, and love that never fades.

My heart truly goes out to everyone who is missing someone today.

Whether your loss is recent or many years ago, whether your grief feels loud or quietly tucked away — you’re not alone.

May today bring you gentle moments, kind thoughts, and the comfort of knowing that love never leaves us, even when people do.

Today, 27 October, we join a beautiful Mexican tradition that welcomes our dogs back home for a night of love and memory. 🕯️🐾

In the spirit of Día de Mu***os, we light candles, lay cempasúchil (marigolds), and whisper “gracias” to the loyal companions who still find their way to us.
