At our next meeting (11th March) we’re pleased to welcome Sophie Day from Kent Police as our guest speaker, where she’ll be discussing fraud prevention and how to stay safe online.

Online scams can affect anyone — no matter your age. Staying informed and knowing the warning signs is key to protecting your personal information. We look forward to learning valuable tips to help us all stay safer in today’s digital world!

March is basically the ‘okay… let’s try again’ month.

The sun stays out a little longer, the air doesn’t hurt your face as much, and suddenly you remember you actually like going outside. It’s not full spring energy yet — it’s more like a soft reboot.

You don’t need a big glow-up. Just crack a window. Go for a short walk. Drink more water. Text the friend. Clear one small thing off your to-do list.

No pressure to have your life together. We’re all just slowly thawing.

Take it easy. Little steps count. 🌤️

So tonight it’s brand new pyjamas, low lights, and M&S chocolate shortbread on standby. No plans, no pressure — just a chilled Saturday and a much-needed switch off after a busy week and an even busier brain! 🧠

Taking time for yourself isn’t selfish — it’s necessary.

Not everyone is going to show up for you in the way you hope. Not everyone will understand your struggles, your boundaries, or your need to step back and recharge. And that’s okay. Part of protecting your mental health is accepting that you can’t rely on others to pour into you all the time.

Sometimes, you have to be the one who checks in with yourself. The one who says, ‘I need a break.’ The one who chooses rest over pressure, peace over proving a point, and healing over people-pleasing.

Looking after yourself might mean saying no. It might mean logging off, cancelling plans, going for a walk, or simply sitting in silence. However it looks, it matters.

You deserve the same care and compassion you so freely give to others. Prioritising your wellbeing isn’t weakness — it’s strength.

‼️‼️Unfortunately we are going to have to reschedule tonight and we are REALLY sorry to have to cancel our meeting again.

The sip and paint meeting will be rescheduled with Lizzy.

Please share around so we can spread the word, such short notice😭

Remember, we are a message away should you need any support💕

27 years around the sun 🌞

Grateful for another year of learning, unlearning, growing, and slowing down. The older I get, the more I realise life isn’t about having everything figured out — it’s about taking care of your mind, protecting your peace, and showing up as your real self.

This year I’m prioritising wellbeing, meaningful connections, and doing more of what actually feels good — not just what looks good. Progress over pressure.

Here’s to 27 🥂

Softer where I need to be, stronger where it counts, and always growing.

Welcome to Her Voice CIC💕

Our meetings run bi-weekly on a Wednesday,
6-8pm at Heather House.

Our meetings are free to attend but if you can spare some change for the use of our space then that’s greatly appreciated and helps us with cost covering.

You do not need to attend every meeting, we understand life can be very busy and sometimes we just aren’t up to socialising!

Any questions please feel free to reach out to us💚

Happy Pancake Day!

Today’s reminder: it’s okay if things feel a bit ‘flipping’ overwhelming.

Here’s your wellbeing recipe:

🥞 Flip the negative thoughts.
🥞 Don’t stack too much on your plate.
🥞 It’s fine to start again.
🥞 A little sweetness goes a long way.

Not every pancake is picture-perfect — and neither are we.

Still counts.
Still good.
