It was a fabulous day all round celebrating the gorgeous Rachel and Ben's wedding at The Moorlands From a hand-fasting with ribbons from the grandparents to sealing the deal with their favourite shots, these two knew just how they wanted to mark their commitment to each other, and it was an absolute joy to be part of it 🥰

Rodney somewhat stole the show this weekend (until the bride arrived of course!) - here he is looking very dapper 😍 And he thoroughly enjoyed his mum and dad's wedding thanks to BOW WOW VOW taking such good care of him!

Delighted to receive these beautiful flowers from a school I visited this afternoon to talk about humanism and my work as a humanist celebrant; it's always a joy to speak to the students even if they do have some tricky questions sometimes!

The government have had over a decade to act on legalising humanist marriages, which would bring England and Wales in line with the rest of the UK, where they are already recognised in law. There is no good reason not to make this simple change and give humanist couples the same rights as their religious counterparts.

A beautifully poignant send-off for a lovely lady today, aided by an exquisite performance by Bianca Blezard Violinist Choosing music is such an important part of crafting a funeral, be it someone's favourite classical piece or The Macc Lads played at full volume! A humanist ceremony lets you celebrate the whole of a person, in all their unique glory 🎶

Who doesn't love an Elvis impersonation at a funeral?! Complete with latex quiff! There's no wrong way to express your love for someone when they've died, and it was fabulous to see a son giving his mum a proper send-off today ❤️🎤🎶

Such a thoughtful gift from Sylvia's family for everyone attending her funeral today🕯️🌸 and not only were we all treated to her favourite, Johnny Cash, in the ceremony, we got a pin badge of the man himself along with a candle and keepsakes! It's always so beautiful to see how each family finds their own way to celebrate the life of the person who has died, and I count it a privilege to be a part of that ❤️
