Irena Guild is a Sport and Remedial Massage Therapist qualified to BTEC Level 5 with the Institute of Sport and Remedial Massage. Sport and Remedial Massage therapy uses different massage techniques to manipulate soft tissue of the body for therapeutic purposes. I use different treatment techniques:
Classic massage, Deep tissue massage, Neuromuscular technique (NMT), Soft tissue release (STR), Muscle Energy technique ( MET), Positional Reliase (PR), Myofascial technique( MR). The aim and benefits of a Sport & Remedial Massage therapy is to help prevent and treat sport or non sport injuries, reduce swelling and pain, great for muscle relaxation, relieves muscle tightness, spasms and improves muscle tone, reduces anxiety and stress, improves range of mobility, restores balance to the musculo-skeletal system, helps in post-surgery rehabilitation, helps with headaches, migraines and insomnia, and more.
