However, Church of England rules denote that no saints' day should be celebrated between Palm Sunday and the Sunday after Easter Day so if 23 April falls in that period the celebrations are transferred to after it. 23 April is the traditionally accepted date of the saint's death in the Diocletianic Persecution of AD 303

Easter is here and this is celebrated by Christians and Catholics all over the world 🌎

Tomorrow marks Maundy Thursday when Jesus’ had the Last Supper before being betrayed by Judus.

Good Friday commemorates the crucifixion of Jesus by the Romans and according to the Bible, Jesus is believed to have risen from the grave and proved his holy divinity which happened on the third day of his death.

Easter is more important in Christian theology than any other holy day as in the Bible, The New Testament preaches that Jesus sacrificed his own life to absolve humanity of their sins.

On Easter Sunday Christians and Catholics will attend mass and many communities will hold precessions with crosses and banners ⛪️🙏🏼✝️📿
