Our carers were chatting about their upcoming Ibiza getaway during a home care visit at the weekend and it led to a beautiful trip down memory lane for one of our clients.

He and his wife had visited the island years ago and was delighted at the opportunity to be able to share his special memories and stories of their trips.

We we all thoroughly enjoyed looking through their old photo album together & was an absolute joy to reminisce with them 🩷

The power of a good conversation goes such a long way 😍

At Belmont Healthcare, we recognise the incredible dedication and resilience of young carers.

Today, we celebrate ‘Young Carers Day’ and support these amazing individuals who balance their own lives while caring for loved ones.

Young Carers Action Day is an annual event that is organised and led by the Carers Trust, encouraging as many organisations, communities and individuals as possible to take part in the day by taking action and supporting and raising awareness of young carers.

This year’s theme is all around ‘‘Give Me A Break’, recognising young carers have so much responsibility on their shoulders that they often have little time for themselves. This theme also speaks to young carers’ need for education professionals and employers to give them a break in life.

Join us in raising awareness and showing appreciation for their hard work and sacrifices.
