To the two people who visited yesterday: our sunglasses are lovely… but they still need paying for 😅 it looks like one pair accidentally slipped into a pocket before leaving the shop.

Come back within 24 hours to return or pay for them and we’ll forget the whole thing happened. If not, we’ll pass the CCTV to the police.

For those who have been part of the journey for many years, and for those just discovering Perspective in Knowle, we’d love to (re)introduce Dan and Sam.

The husband-and-wife optometrist dream team, and the proud owners of Perspective. They have built and grown the practice over the past 21 years in Drury Lane, caring for generations of patients. Now, with the exciting move to Knowle, the next chapter begins and we’re proud to be part of it.

As a team, we’re delighted to continue caring for familiar faces while welcoming new ones through the door as well! Pop in and say hello!

The frames are out, the space is finished, and everything is looking just how we imagined. It’s been a busy (and exciting) few weeks getting the practice ready, and we’re so happy to finally open the doors.

✨ It's our final week before the big move!✨

We’re in the final stretch. The old practice is being stripped back, final details are coming together, and while it looks a little chaotic at the moment, it’s all part of the process. Sometimes things need to be undone before they can be rebuilt better...as they say, you have to break a few eggs to make an omelette!

We’ll be sad to leave our old home that’s served us so well for the past 21 years, but we’re incredibly excited for the new adventures ahead. We also cleared the shelves of all our wonderful frames before we send them to their new home this week, and of course we had to capture one more photo in the space before it was all taken apart. You might have to look closely to spot the team!

We can’t wait to show you the shiny new space from the 11th February!

✨ Week 3 of 4 before our big move! ✨

Here’s what we’ve been up to over the last week as our new Knowle practice really starts to take shape! With the flooring now down and the main structures built, the space is finally feeling real. Painting is underway, electrics are going in, and you can really start to see how everything is coming together.

Next week we’ll still be available on Drury Lane, but we won’t be carrying out eye tests while all of our equipment makes the move to our new location. We’ll also be packing up our frames, so there’ll be no styling consultations during this time (unless your dog eats your specs and you need something asap!)

That said, we’ll still be available by telephone and email, and for collections as usual. Think of it as us temporarily swapping our optician hats for moving gloves... our job descriptions are expanding a little beyond eye care next week!

There’s more to come as we move even closer to the finish line ✨

Here’s a little peek at what we’ve been up to this past week as our new Knowle practice starts to look like home 👀 It’s all about the structural details right now - mapping out plug points, shaping the space, and even knocking down the wall between our two units to make everything feel brighter, bigger, and better 🙌

We’re loving watching it all come together and can’t wait to show you more as the transformation continues. Keep your eyes peeled for next week’s update! ✨
