Stop aiming for perfection.

Go with the cards you are dealt with, and make the most of it.

If you want every workout, session, schedule to be perfect, you are setting yourself up to failure.

Yesterday was the epitome of improvisation, and I'm so proud of this Badass Bunch for going with the flow through venue change, wind, cold, uneven grounds and even a construction site ๐Ÿ˜‚

Slow down.
Take a few deep, intentional breaths.
Immerse in your surroundings.

We tend to forget that wellbeing isn't only workouts and healthy eating.

Your daily habits, rituals all contributing to how you feel each day.

It's a gorgeous, sunny weekend.

Get out to nature, breathe, take a moment to notice your surroundings, the way the light breaks through the leaves, the sky and clouds reflect in the puddle, listen to the bees bumbling, and notice how your body relaxes.

Huge congratulations to our amazing yoga regular, Sabrina, who absolutely crushed the London Landmarks Half Marathon this past weekend! ๐Ÿƒโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿ’จ

โ€‹Sabrina took on the 13.1 miles to support Cats Protection, a cause close to her heart ever since her companion, Molly, came into her life during the quiet days of 2020.

โ€‹The Highlights:
โ€‹Double Personal Best:
She smashed her 5k and 10k PB times! โฑ๏ธ

โ€‹Sub-2 Goal:
She was agonizingly closeโ€”missing it by just 42 seconds (though we think those extra seconds just mean more time for the crowd to cheer!).

โ€‹The Vibe:
Incredible support from the Cats Protection cheer squads and her running crew.

โ€‹Sabrina is now trading her running shoes for a well-deserved glass of bubbles, but her fundraising page is still open.

Just a little update from Kris why did we go a bit more quiet here in the past month...

Life is throwing things at us, but we are coming out on the other side of the challenges stronger and better than before ๐Ÿ˜Š

Where have I been? ๐Ÿ ๐Ÿ”โžก๏ธ๐Ÿพ

If Iโ€™m honest, Iโ€™ve been a bit quiet on here lately. Between house hunting, mortgage meetings, phone calls, and floorplan-scrolling, my mental bandwidth has been at 1%.

Itโ€™s easy to get 'stuck'โ€”not just in a house search, but in your own head and body. When life gets static, the best thing you can do is move. ๐Ÿงฌ๐Ÿ›ก๏ธ

Iโ€™m clearing the deck and getting back to what I do best: helping you move pain-free.

Great things happen OUTSIDE your Comfort Zone ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿป

I'm not a runner. In fact, I hate running. And I'm scared of heights, and walking by the railings of bridges.
But when we had the chance to go back to San Francisco 7 years ago, we didn't even hesitate, just signed up for our first Half Marathon. With the route Across the Golden Gate Bridge. And then back again ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ™ˆ

We set a goal, we trained (embarrassingly little) and did it!
It was challenging, the soreness we felt for a solid 3 days after still haunts us occasionally, but it was totally worth it!

For the memories, for overcoming mental and physical challenges and proving ourselves we can do things, even if it scares us and seems impossible; and for the incredible Ghirardelli Salted Caramel Sundae at the finish line ๐Ÿ˜‚

I want you to start believing in yourself, and start treating your Comfort Zone as your Uncomfortable Zone and see the magic happen ๐Ÿ˜‰

Would I do it again, even though I still hate running? Absolutely!
But only if its the Halfling Half Marathon through Hobbiton in New Zealand ๐Ÿ˜
