As it’s World Reflexology Week this week, let’s talk about acupressure….
Reflexology uses acupressure points on the arms and lower legs👣
Reflexology is based on the belief that there are channels of energy called meridians running through the body🦶
It is thought that blockages of energy in these meridians can lead to disease. Reflexologists stimulate these acupressure points to enable the energy to flow freely again enabling the body to function in harmony and balance👣

I’m happy to say that this week is world Reflexology Week 👣
I’m going to try to shed some light on this beautiful complementary therapy this week and why I do it! 🦶
To become a reputable reflexologist I trained for 1 year and gained a level 5 diploma.
As reflexology students we had to complete at least 100 treatments on various case studies including long term health conditions such as long covid and polymyalgia rheumatica. Case studies also included menopausal symptoms. Pregnancy, fertility and baby reflexology were also covered as well as hand and ear reflexology.
I’m really proud to have completed such extensive training and feel equipped to be able to improve the wellbeing of a broad range of clients in an holistic way.
Therefore when looking for a reflexologist it is important to check their qualifications. A reputable practitioner won’t mind you asking. 👣🦶👣🦶👣🦶👣🦶👣🦶👣🦶👣🦶👣
