**Look out for our info boards**
Really pleased to have the support of all four Solihull Family Hubs, Colebridge Trust, this year!

The boards are a simple reminder that whilst some celebrate ‘Neurodiversity week’ we celebrate and champion Neurodivergent individuals every day!

All the boards have a different flavour covering all sorts of subjects. With statistics to raise awareness that Neurodivergence affects ALL areas of our communities! Their is also a brain 🧠 (don’t worry it’s paper…) which shows which areas of the brain control which functions.

We would love if any partners have any activities or support to offer for our Neurodiversity Circus Celebration… (see picture) Drop us a message if you want to get involved 😁

We would also like to give our partners and professionals a heads up, we will once again be running ‘The Good, The Bad and The Desperately Sad - A life span journey of Neurodivergence’ on behalf of Young Opportunities Solihull - look out for the booking form

Extra info:
We will be offering a stay and play for parents who are or may be neurodivergent. If you are pregnant, or have a child who is between the ages of 0-5years this is for you. Your child does NOT need to be SEN and you do NOT have to have a diagnosis in order to attend.

I will be providing themed sessions and Lisa will be there to provide a cuppa and answer any questions you might have related to neurodivergence and parenting.

We are a fully neurodivergent team, so we aim to provide a safe, non judgemental space for both you and your little ones.

A couple of spaces have became available on the YOURSELF: Navigating Parenting with a. Neurodivergent brain, starting tomorrow for 5 weeks.
This one will be at Marston Green Baptist Free Church, B36 7DE, 9:30-12 and will run every Wednesday from 25th Feb-25th March.

Celebrating Neurodiversity Week March 16th-20th

As always we never miss an opportunity to celebrate just how bloody amazing you all are! We know only too well how difficult it is to live life in a world, and follow systems that are just not set out for neurodivergent individuals. We hear you when you tell us that people don't understand how difficult it is to hear constantly "that we must be resilient" when we use so much resilience to just get up everyday.

However we also know that you are the best kind of people, our favourite kind of people. and you are absolutely perfect just the way you are!!!

This is why we spend every single day and every single session "Successfully Embracing Neurodivergence"

As we always say, YOU put the "SUPER" in Super Sen and we love nothing more than to celebrate this time with you all, surrounded by Our Tribe.

Tomorrow we have SENDIAS with us at Hatchford Family hub 9:30-12pm and then Thursday 5:30-7:30pm at Riverside, we will have our first evening meet up. We will be showing the presentation "What is Neurodiversity?" and having a chat and a cuppa.

All welcome. Sensory room and refreshments available for all sessions.

We will also have some hearts and flowers to paint at Hatchford.

✨ For Young People (ages 11–21 with experience of not attending school)

📢 We’d love to hear your story!
Have you ever struggled with going to school or spent time learning outside of school? We’re inviting young people to a research interview to better understand experiences of school non-attendance and its impact on mental health.

Beth Bodycote (Not Fine in School) and Ellie Costello (Square Peg) are involved as consultants in this project.

💻 Interviews can be done by phone or online – whichever works best for you.
💷 You’ll receive a thank-you payment for your time.
🌍 Open to young people aged 11–21 across England.
