Campfire moments 🔥❤️

There’s something about sitting round a campfire (especially one in the insanely beautiful setting of ), bum on the ground connecting you to the earth, under a sky full of stars, surrounded by forest and mountains, round a crackling fire, that takes you back to your primal roots.

No mobile phones, no tv, nowhere to be, no distractions, just nothing apart from being fully present in the moment.

Add in Wim telling stories, singing and playing the guitar and you have a magic setting 🥰🥰🥰

Sitting in a circle always creates such a feeling of connectedness, and a safe space to share feelings and experiences of the day (or life!) Absolutely cherish these magical moments 🔥

“Do I have to do the ice bath?”

It’s a common question I get about my Wim Hof Method workshops.

The answer is: No. It’s always optional.

Of course, one of the big reasons people come is the ice bath. But others are more interested in the breathwork and mindset… or just curious about easing into cold showers.

There’s always choice, and you’ll never be pushed into doing anything you’re not comfortable with.

That said, I’ve had people so sure they weren’t going near the ice that they didn’t even pack swimwear…
then after the breathwork and mindset training, next thing you know… they’re in. In their un**es 😆

So if you’re curious but nervous, come along.
But bring your swimwear ~ just in case.
Because when you feel safe and supported, amazing things can happen – whether you get in the ice or not 💙

Why is the WHM Fundamentals workshop 3 to 4 hours long?

Isn’t it just an ice bath?

The Wim Hof Method is so much more than just the cold. That’s just one of the components… the method is built around three pillars – 🌬️ breath, ❄️ cold exposure, and 🧠 mindset.

In the workshop, we talk about the science behind the method; we explore how we breathe in everyday life, and how breath can shift our physiology and mental state. We do a beautiful guided breathing session 🌿, with plenty of space for reflection, questions, and sharing.

We also take the time to SAFELY explore cold exposure 🧊, learning the best practices for building resilience and ensuring your body is ready for the challenge – always with a focus on safety and control.

And though it’s not one of the three official pillars, stretching plays an important role too🧘. We explore how gentle movement supports healthy wellbeing, improves circulation and encourages blood flow, keeps the body flexible, and the mind calm.

The time always flies, and people can’t believe it’s already over by the end!

What being a Wim Hof Method Instructor means to me 🩵

Becoming a WHM instructor has been one of the most rewarding journeys of my life.

It’s more than just teaching breathwork, cold exposure, and mindset – it’s about helping people reconnect with their inner strength, resilience, and vitality.

Every time I lead a session, I see first-hand how this method transforms people. The moment someone realises they can do more than they thought – whether it’s stepping into their first ice bath, releasing emotion through breathwork, or simply changing how they relate to stress – is incredible.

For me, this work is about empowerment. It’s about holding space for people to reconnect with their breath, their body, and their own inner power. I’ve seen people step into the ice full of doubt and step out with a newfound confidence. I’ve witnessed breathwork bring someone into a deep state of calm, helping them let go of stress and tension they sometimes didn’t even realise they were holding. These transformations are why I do what I do.

One of the most moving moments I’ve experienced was guiding a participant carrying deep grief since losing her baby. Through breathwork, she released emotions she had carried for so long, and in that moment, she found peace she hadn’t felt in a really long time. Moments like these remind me why this work matters.

The Wim Hof Method has changed my life – it’s made me stronger, calmer, and more present. I feel so privileged to now share that with others. Whether you want to build mental resilience and reduce stress and anxiety, improve your wellbeing, or simply reconnect with yourself, I’d love to guide you on this journey. ❄️💙

“I don’t want to get to the end of my life and find that I just lived the length of it.
I want to have lived the width of it as well”.

Heard this quote today and it’s such a wakeup call. We often find ourselves just getting through the days, running on autopilot – doing what needs to be done to keep going. It’s so easy to run down the length of our life without really experiencing it as fully as we have the chance to. Love this idea of ‘not just living the length of our lives, but the width of it aswell’, a big reminder to experience things more fully and deeply.

It doesn’t have to be anything big like climbing a mountain, it can be as simple as being present in the here and now, really tasting the food we eat, going for a walk and appreciating the nature around us, connecting fully with everyone we interact, really listening to our loved ones when they’re talking without being distracted.

There’s so much we miss when we’re just going through the motions. Today, see if you can catch the little moments… the ones that make life feel a little bit wider.

Wim Hof Method Scientific Study 🧠❄️🧬

I recently took part in an exciting live research study at the Wim Hof Center in France, exploring how the Wim Hof Method impacts the brain, heart, and respiratory system, using scientific tools and real-time data.

Half of us were experienced WHM instructors, having regularly practiced the method for years. The other half were complete beginners, with no prior experience of WHM. This allows the researchers to compare the effects of WHM on both seasoned practitioners and first-time users, offering a deeper understanding of the method’s impact at different stages of experience.

During the session, we were fitted with non-invasive sensors, including a 64-channel EEG cap to monitor neural activity in different parts of the brain, plus capnography and oximetry equipment to track our breathing patterns and blood oxygen levels.

We listened to a guided WHM session, followed the breathwork, all while our bodies were being monitored. In addition, the Instructors took a 10 minute ice bath to see how the cold further affects the body.

It was a powerful reminder that while the method might look simple from the outside, it has complex and measurable effects - and science is yet again exploring what so many of us feel: that this practice can bring calm, clarity, and resilience.

Looking forward to seeing the results when they’re published in a few months, but for now, I just feel really grateful to have taken part!
