Could breathwork and gentle cold exposure influence inflammation in people affected by cancer?
I’m part of a pilot research study exploring the Wim Hof Method (combining breathing, cold exposure, and mindset) with people living with cancer.
We’re investigating whether guided breathwork and gentle, controlled cold exposure might influence inflammation markers in the body, which could help with things like fatigue, treatment side effects and sleep quality.
It’s important to say this is a supportive practice - not a treatment or replacement for medical care.
This study is part of a fully transparent open science initiative, and I’m working alongside an incredible team of scientists and researchers. My role is to guide participants safely through the Wim Hof Method.
We’re now inviting people to take part, with the study beginning in May.
