Life really is like a camera.
We’re given these fleeting moments, and the way we choose to frame them matters. If we spend our energy zooming in on what’s broken or blurry, we lose sight of the beauty already in focus. But when we steady ourselves and look through the lens of what truly matters, we notice the light… small glimmers of joy, love, growth… that we might have otherwise overlooked.
The good times? They’re our snapshots. Memories etched into our hearts like photographs that carry warmth long after the moment has passed. But the truth is, just like in a darkroom, it’s often the negatives that shape us most. Pain, loss, disappointment… they really do hold the hidden images waiting to be developed into wisdom, strength, and compassion.
And when life feels out of focus, when the picture doesn’t turn out how we imagined? We are reminded: this isn’t the end of the roll. We’re allowed to take another shot. A fresh perspective. A new beginning. Again AND again.
Because life isn’t about the perfect picture… it’s about the courage to keep capturing it, frame by frame, as we grow, we get an opportunity to heal, and learn.
