Thank you to everyone who has supported our Campaign for Ollie’s Birthday month. I know the Acts of Kindness have spread near and far. Ollie would be pleased.

We also thank everyone who contributed to our collection for the homeless as part of Ollie’s Birthday Month. A cause we know Ollie was concerned about. We have £310 plus our contribution to buy items for the Homeless around UCLH. We will be visiting a Friday Homeless Club in the next few weeks. We were hoping to do this on Ollie’s Birthday but they have had restrictions on visits due to Covid. Thank you to everyone who has helped. We will post a photo of all we’ve purchased once we have it all xx

Monday tomorrow - you thought about any planned Acts of Kindness?

This week I let a few extra people out of junctions, much to Ronnie’s annoyance on the way to taking him to work. Then today I let a lad in front of me in Aldi. Just the little stuff makes you feel good. I kept thinking of Ollie and know he’d be smiling too xx

It’s Ollie’s Birthday on the 25th October. He would’ve been 28.

What we would really like to do in the Month of October is spread some smiles. We’d like people to carry out random acts of kindness. Nothing major but just gestures to spread some smiles around. I think we all need them after the last 2 years.

Ollie loved buying family and his girlfriend, Georgia, small thoughtful presents. Why not give someone a small gift just because you want to. Bring a smile to someone who least expects it.

Open a door for someone, let someone out of a junction and give them a wave, give a neighbour a treat, knock on a neighbours door and ask them how they are, walk the dog and smile at a stranger. Just the little things make a difference.
