Here at Silver Birch Centres we pride ourselves on really knowing our clients and their capabilities. Today Jean had a go at this game, from a sitting position she found it tricky, so with encouragement we asked her to try standing with a staff member beside her to make her feel safe. She managed to get the ball in, just as we knew she would! Even though she didn’t show much excitement at the time, she told me three times afterwards how proud she was of doing it. A perfect reminder that encouragement and patience makes such a difference , a wonderful confidence booster ,well done Jean ❤️
