Wintering Yoga Retreat in the Peak District November 2025.

Feeling so thankful for this beautiful group who joined our winter retreat — a gentle cocoon of connection, laughter, and rest. 💫

A blended circle of souls, sharing stories, friendship and warmth amidst the rolling hills of the Peak District. We wrapped ourselves in cosiness, nourished by delicious food, the glow from the log burner and the magic of slowing down.

From yoga flows in the heated barn and fireside meditation and journalling in our snug cottage — every moment felt like a soft exhale.

Grateful hearts. Full bellies. Deep connection.

What a week connecting with new souls on a bespoke Yoga-Mimi Mallorcan Yoga Retreat.

I was delighted to take a booking with a group of friends I'd never met, guiding them through yoga, breathwork, meditation and journalling.

They were absolutely up for everything including a trek to a local bay, cycling through the lanes, dawn paddleboarding with the absolutely legend Hannah who supported the whole group for two hours in the bay of Pollensa.

As always, I couldn't have done it without my wingman .mcpherson.31 for the never ending trips to the supermarket, location director, photographer, brunch service and luggage handler!

Bookings are being taken for Yoga-Mimi Wintering Yoga Retreat, hosted in a beautiful, large stone cottage located on a working farm in the heart of the Peak District near Bakewell.

What will be included?

* 3 nights accommodation (Friday 7th Nov arriving after 4pm – Monday 10th Nov departing before 9:30am)
*Guided yoga practice (flow and restorative), meditation and breath work at various times over the weekend
*Optional visit to Chatsworth House and Christmas Market on Saturday
* Walk (or drive) for Sunday lunch in a village inn and hotel restaurant
*Three hearty and healthy breakfast options provided by Yoga-Mimi staff
*Evening meals on Friday and Saturday and sharing boards on Sunday provided by a local catering company
*Basic supplies (tea / coffee / juice etc) in the cottage

What is the Accommodation basis?

*Exclusive use of the Hayloft cottage sleeping a maximum of 12 guests in 6 twin bedrooms
*3 bathrooms (2 rooms per bathroom)
*Open plan living area with cosy log burning stove and TV
*Bath towels and hairdryers
*Use of a games room in a farm 'shed' for yoga practice
