360 days. One year (almost) of showing up (mostly).
At the start of 2024, I was 310lbs (just over 22 stone), having rebounded hard during COVID. I decided enough was enough — time to take control.
Here’s the part people still don’t seem to get:
📣 IT DOESN’T MATTER HOW MUCH YOU WEIGH.
Since then, I’ve lost just over 100lbs. That’s about 1.5lbs per week. Not particularly flashy or viral worthy, but it all adds up.
When I started back lifting weights and personal training in June 2024, I began tracking with the InBody machine, which gave me a more detailed insight into what was actually changing.
Here’s what’s happened from June 2024 to now.
🔥 Fat lost: 76.9lbs
💪 Muscle gained: 18.1lbs
⚠️ Visceral fat dropped: 24 ➡️ 7
🔥 BMR increased: +283 calories/day
📉 Body fat %: 44.2% ➡️ 17.1%
If I had focused on the scale alone, I would’ve given up in the first month.
The scale shows an overall weight loss of 48.1lbs since June 2024, which might not sound like much.
But in reality, I’ve been losing fat, gaining muscle, and transforming my body and lifespan.
That’s why I always say:
Composition > Weight. Always.
(Screenshots below — because the data doesn’t lie.)
Remember.. it’s a marathon, not a sprint.
If it didn’t take you a year to put the weight on, it won’t take you a year to get in the best shape of your life.
Consistency is key.
