Move it 2 Lose it Move it 2 Lose provides a wide range of fitness classes for all ages and abilities. We also offer online nutrition and exercise programs.

Move it 2 Lose it was created by Alison Ogilvie, an experienced and successful trainer with a proven record for results. Alison has experience of working with clients of all ages with varying goals and is a qualified personal trainer, class exercise instructor and dance teacher. Move it 2 lose it currently offers group exercise classes in boot-camp style training, step aerobics, aerobics, mat based Pilates, one-to-one personal training, small group training, Fight Fx and circuits with more classes planned for 2015! All instructors are qualified personal trainers and are specialists in creating classes that maximize the results for each individual client. Classes have a friendly and non-competitive and all class based sessions are held at Art of Dance and Fitness. Classes cost £3.50 per class and a weekly or monthly pass can be purchased. Personal training and online training programs vary in price.

I have been approached by a number of people if I would run the successful online nutrition and exercise program again so starting 1st June a new group will be starting.

It will consist of a proven nutrition program to lose weight!

You will receive a comprehensive exercise program that will take around 20-25 minutes every day and can be completed in your own home.

It IS suitable for all levels and does fit into a busy family life!
There is no calorie counting, sin counting or any counting for that matter... just healthy nutritional advice that is suitable for the whole family.

Well guys it's with huge heartache I have to say this will be my last month doing classes other than Pilates and maybe online courses.

I have absolutely loved teaching fitness but the time has come to focus on being a mummy, wife and on my main career. I'm just finding the juggle too much and so need time on a night time with my family. I'm realising more and more life is going by too fast and I need time to be a great mummy and do all the things I should be doing. I think I've actually realised I'm not super woman and I can't make the day 26 hours long.

I need to say a huge thank you, fitness isn't a job it's a passion of mine and you know that's always been the essence and foundation. I TRULLY believe in excellent nutrition and exercise and that you can't survive without it. Thank you for supporting me, being great friends and fantastic role models for me!

I'm going to be lost without you all and I hope you will continue to support the online groups and Pilates.

For those of you wishing to still train I have managed to secure an amazing deal with Grant Henson for all my clients. His credentials speak for themselves, he has trained with the best and I wouldn't send you somewhere I don't believe in!

I've trained with grant for three months now and the service is second to none and I'm loving training and the results.

Thank you again for all your support over the last 6 years; from when I first started teaching aerobics, to Pilates, to Aqua, to spinning and so to present day. A huge thank you Suzanne Stuart at Art of Dance and her team for their continued support over the years.

I'm not saying this is the end but a gap to be a mummy for a while and breathe a little!

Two great classes to start the week tomorrow at Art of Dance and Fitness. Fat buster at 5:45 followed by pilates at 6:30. If you've ever thought pilates, easy just ladies lying on mats or balancing on a ball then you really haven't got a clue about this class.

An amazing session which you really do feel for days after, is easily adapted for all levels and is a fantastic 'insurance class' for all gym enthusiasts or fit pros needing strength and conditioning work of their core.
