Williby Roc's CIC - Eco Creations

Eco-friendly arts and crafts,outdoor education, mental health support groups,nature based sessions.

Here at Williby Rocs CIC, we aim to increase community inclusion to develop and use local green space for play, therapy and learning. We want to provide inspiring and engaging environmental education sessions to all, in particular socially excluded and hard to each groups. We want to support people to increase their connection to nature and provide opportunities to be part of positive community projects to boost confidence and holistic well-being. Our top priority and main focus is positive mental health and we offer support groups to help reduce isolation and increase everyone’s connection to nature and each other. People who attend our sessions will explore their imaginations and take away ideas on how to reuse everyday natural and waste items, making wonderful creations and magical memories. We will show you how to use natural resources to play and craft with which cost little or nothing to gather. We want to encourage outdoor play and discovery for everyone through fun and engaging sessions. We offer a huge range of sessions for all ages and in the past have used our skills and experience to set up outdoor mental health support groups where people learn new skills, and support one another and experience the therapeutic benefits of Mother Nature. We are constantly evolving to ensure we are delivering exactly what our local community needs and learning new skills to ensure we have everything we need to support them. We hold Enhanced DBS checks and Public Liability Insurance up to £5 million

This week we delivered our 5th year of wreath workshops with groups of students at st Wilfrids R.C College. These sessions are always a favourite and it’s great to create with the students and some of their teachers. Always an absolute pleasure to see some students again too. Lots of fun chatting and helping them make some beautiful festive wreaths! 🎄

Yesterday we had the absolute pleasure of welcoming our youngest ever member to our wreath making workshops! Little Meadow loved all the colours and textures and had a great time celebrating knee deep in nature with all of her grown ups! Such a beautiful afternoon and beautiful wreaths to don the doors! 🎄

This afternoon we had the pleasure of delivering one of our wreath workshops with North East Amputee Support Group. It was such a festive afternoon with a lovely group of people! Thank you for booking with us, everyone’s wreath are gorgeous! 🎄

Hi, I’m so sorry but after coming over to the garden I’ve decided to reschedule this Mondays Christmas session till next Monday 8th December. The weather is pretty grim this morning and I want the little ones to enjoy the final session making there Christmas crafts! See you all next Monday! 💚

As some of you already know, next week is our final week of the term! ❤️

If you haven’t already booked on, this will be finishing with a Christmas themed week with lots of festive crafts for the children to make and take home! 💚

Sessions will run as normal -

Monday 1st December
Tuesday 2nd December
Friday 5th December

All at 9:45-11am

Cost -£9.50 per child
