Big shoutout to Rich! 💪

He got started with PROGRESS 165 and is steadily making his way through Phase 1 of the program

We’ve gone through the introduction to weight training, looked at his movement, and addressed any foundational instabilities, because just like a house, the foundations need to be solid before we start building.

Alongside that, we’ve been proactively working on his nutrition. And he’s come on leaps and bounds, realising exactly what his body needs, feeling the benefits and noticing how much clearer his mind is and how much more energy he has just from the changes we’ve made. 💡

And guess what? He still has time for a couple of drinks on the weekend.

Now that he’s on a progressive plan, he’s set up to stay consistent and turn this into a lifestyle that sticks. It’s been great working with someone who’s ready to push themselves and see what they’re capable of.

When Kat came to me, she was recovering from spinal surgery and feeling stuck.

Despite going to the gym regularly, she lacked structure and wasn’t making the progress she wanted. She’d also put on some weight post-surgery and was cautious about pushing herself too hard. Kat had bold ambitions, not just to get her body functioning properly again, but also to achieve a physique she felt confident in.

With some initial hesitation about Online Coaching, Kat took the leap, and never looked back. 💪

With a structured plan tailored to her goals, she started hitting her stride. Over time, she achieved Personal Bests like 100 kg on the deadlift and 120 kg on the hip thrust.

Not bad for 42, right? You might see a 6 pack. You might see someone in great shape. But what I see is the journey it took to get here - discipline, consistency, and resilience.

When it comes to shoulder training, don’t skip any part of the muscle! Rear delts, side delts, and front delts all need attention for that well-rounded look. Here’s the breakdown:

1️⃣ Start with Rear Delts: These are often overlooked but are key to building balanced shoulders and improving posture.
2️⃣ Side Delts Next: These add width and shape to your shoulders.
3️⃣ Finish with Front Delts: Since front delts get plenty of work in other pushing exercises, they can be last in the lineup.
