This week our residents have been very musical, we have enjoyed listening to our favourite songs and singing along. We have even played along with some instruments all before relaxing and having our nails painted and doing some colouring in the sun.🪇🥁🎤
After all of the fun we have had enjoying the garden space we have sat back and relaxed in our cosy cinema and watched a film together.

We have had a busy day here at Moorhill making some sweet treats 🍫 our residents enjoyed melting chocolate into the heart shaped moulds and filling them with chocolate cake, but the most enjoyable part has been eating them with a nice cup of tea🥰🍫💙

Our lovely ladies have been soaking up the sunshine over the weekend. We have been enjoying some paintings in the garden and then playing some fun games on the interactive board.😁☀️🪻🎨

Today I got to visit Monty's Community Hub, a creative community space in the heart of Sholing. Moorhill Care Home is proud to have been able to support Monty's by awarding them £1000 from the Moorhill Community Fund which will be helping to fund their camping trips to the New Forest and Pen Y Fan next week.

We have had a busy first couple of weeks welcoming children to our Moorhill summer children's cinema club. This has been a fun activity to sit back and relax in our comfy cinema with a lovely snack of popcorn and some refreshing drinks. 🥳🍿🧃🎬
