Come along to our Friday session for lots of smelly fun this week! Our current topic is 'My Body' and we are having lots of fun exploring our different senses! If you are interested in coming along to the session please do get in touch.

Our first session 12.15-13.15 is suitable for children who are not yet fully mobile or who have complex medical needs. The second from 13.30 - 14.30 is for children who like to be on the go.

We are really excited to be working together with the to ensure our families can get easy access to professional advice and support. We will be welcoming one of the under 5 Occupational therapist to one of our sessions on a monthly basis to join in with the chaos and fun - we hope these will be a really great opportunity for our families to be able to ask questions and share experiences in a non-clinical environment making it more relaxed for them and their children.

Happy Birthday Elaine Cornwall - you truly fabulous human! Our lives would all be a little less chaotic and a lot less fun without you! Thank you for everything you do for Chaos & Calm - many don’t realise the how many many hours you spend baking for us and hand drawing all our story art work just to make us all feel that little bit special! So today is about you and we all hope it’s full of a little bit of sparkle and a lot of chaos!!!

Our Microgrant Scheme is now open! If you’d like to apply for £1000 for a grant for therapy or equipment for your child, or something else they need because of their disability please contact me for a form at alfiesateam@gmail.com. I have already sent forms to anyone I’ve spoken to in the last few months so please check your emails. All forms need to be back by 530pm on 23rd April. Good luck ! 💚

This is a really lovely cafe in Leigh and we have had lots of tasty food here - and I know they would be very welcoming of any of our Chaos & Calm families so do check them out ….

We hear it all the time…

“This is exactly what’s needed.”
“I wish there were more places like this.”

And we’re so proud of that. Truly. ❤️

But the honest truth is… being needed and being supported aren’t always the same thing.

Phabulous Café exists to provide a safe, supportive, real-world environment for people who might otherwise struggle to find their place. It’s more than a café-it’s confidence building, life skills, community, and belonging.

But right now, like many small independents, we’re feeling the pressure. Rising costs, increasing competition (especially here in Leigh), and the day-to-day reality of keeping the doors open are all getting tougher.

So this is a genuine ask from us…

👉 If you believe in what we do, please choose us for your coffee or lunch
👉 Tell people about us-word of mouth means everything
👉 Bring friends, colleagues, or groups to visit
👉 If you’re part of an organisation, consider how you might support or partner with us

Every single visit, share, and recommendation really does make a difference.
