This is a really lovely cafe in Leigh and we have had lots of tasty food here - and I know they would be very welcoming of any of our Chaos & Calm families so do check them out ….

We hear it all the time…
“There’s nothing else like Phabulous Café locally.”
“This is exactly what’s needed.”
“I wish there were more places like this.”

And we’re so proud of that. Truly. ❤️

But the honest truth is… being needed and being supported aren’t always the same thing.

Phabulous Café exists to provide a safe, supportive, real-world environment for people who might otherwise struggle to find their place. It’s more than a café-it’s confidence building, life skills, community, and belonging.

But right now, like many small independents, we’re feeling the pressure. Rising costs, increasing competition (especially here in Leigh), and the day-to-day reality of keeping the doors open are all getting tougher.

So this is a genuine ask from us…

👉 If you believe in what we do, please choose us for your coffee or lunch
👉 Tell people about us-word of mouth means everything
👉 Bring friends, colleagues, or groups to visit
👉 If you’re part of an organisation, consider how you might support or partner with us
👉 And if anyone is interested in fundraising or getting involved-we’d absolutely love to hear from you

Every single visit, share, and recommendation really does make a difference.

We don’t want to just be “that great place people talk about”…
We want to still be here, making a difference, for years to come.

Thank you for being part of our journey 💛

It is time for a new story at our new location... For the next three weeks we will be sharing the story of 'Love Our Earth' By Jane Cabrera this is a wonderful book celebrating the natural world and also promoting early learning skills.

We repeat our stories three times as this gives children time to develop their understanding of the story and to develop really key learning skills such as anticipation, cause and effect, early number skills and of course language skills including learning some new Makaton signs. This story is jam packed full of activities to explore and lots of props to bring it to life. Come along and join us.... Rayleigh Baptist Church 10.00 - 11.00 - children on the move, 11.15-12.15 children with limited mobility.

We are so excited to be working with for our sensory story-time on Thursdays - we have two sessions which each cater for different needs so please get in touch to find out which will suit your child best. These are really relaxed sessions and children are not expected to sit still and listen - there is always lots to explore and do in our stories and there is time for play and chat before and after the story.

Sessions include the use of Makaton and alternative communication aids such as switches. Please do get in touch if you would like to find out more!

Rayleigh Baptist church also happen to run their very popular and welcoming community café on a Thursday 11.00-12.45 serving rolls, jackets, hot specials, and cakes at very affordable prices so a great opportunity to make a real morning out!
We recommend parking at Castle road car park SS6 7QD

Our Tuesday group is a wonderful gentle introduction to our stay and play sessions for families who may have found it difficult to get along to groups because of their child's needs, medical appointments, hospital stays etc

This is a place where you can come and 'just be' - no pressure, no expectations just support, fun and amazing cake!
