Chinese New Year Celebration 17th February. A sound Immersion like no other.

Everything's connected to the moon!! Next Tuesday, February 17th, marks the start of Lunar New Year—the Chinese New Year.
It is also the beginning of Lent - what many of us remember from childhood as Shrove Tuesday. As well as the beginning of Ramadan. AND the famous Rio carnival in Brazil. So what's not to celebrate??!!!
The snake departs & we enter the year of the horse - shedding becomes potential for accelerated growth and quite possibly some big changes.
As someone who has felt the weight the weight of these past few years, I feel compelled to honor both their passing and the promise of new beginnings.
To reiterate what I spoke about Tuesday night. Plan is to gather gather around the fire and make this evening a blend of carnival - at least with the music - before we enter the gong space for a sound journey that focuses on cleansing and clearing with the crashing of the Big Chinese gongs. These are quite distinct (wild, almost alive and unruly at times) to help us mark this transition. To move on there is a need to confront some of our deepest fears so as to emerge renewed.
The plan is to have one or two assistants for the sound journey who will be moving around the space, adding layers to what is typically typically created. As always, the numbers will be strictly limited - more so because of the need for extra space to allow for movement around the space during this sound immersion.
20 % of the contribution for the evening will be gifted to The Walnut Project who are a local community based project.

Potential for dramatic shifts, excitement, and progress.
Yin: But the horse doesn’t force momentum — it embodies it.
It moves when the timing is right. It rests when it’s not. It responds with presence, not panic.
This year isn’t asking you to override your body or force boldness for the sake of becoming.
It’s asking you to rememb
