We’re pleased to share that Keychange’s Community Connectors Lead, Alex Watts, will be hosting a table and available for a friendly chat at the Health and Wellbeing Information Event on Thursday 12 March at Southwick Community Centre.

You’ll also be able to talk to a wide range of local organisations supporting older people, carers, families, and residents - including Age UK, Royal Voluntary Service, Healthwatch West Sussex, Alzheimer’s Society, and many others.

A great chance to get information, meet people and explore local support.

Our recent Community Connectors Insights Report showed that transport is the biggest barrier stopping older people in Southwick from staying connected. To explore this further, our Project Lead Alex brought together local councillors and community organisations for a Transport Round Table.

It was a great opportunity to talk openly about the challenges older residents face and to look at practical next steps we can take together to improve things.

It’s brilliant to see partners coming together with real energy and commitment to make Southwick a more connected place for everyone.
