Two minutes, a small pause in a world that rarely slows down. But in that silence, there’s so much spoken.

For the veterans I work with, remembrance is not confined to one day a year. It lives in memories, in moments that resurface quietly, and in the space between breaths. Yet today, the collective silence matters , it’s where we come together to honour those who served, those who never came home, and those who still carry the weight of war within them.

Silence is not emptiness. It’s remembrance. It’s respect. It’s a shared moment of gratitude and grief.

🕊️ At 11am, pause wherever you are.

Remembrance isn’t just one day.
With Remembrance fast approaching, I wanted to take a moment to reflect....
For many of the veterans I work with, every day carries echoes of those they served beside, the faces, voices, and moments that shaped them. Their stories remind us that remembering isn’t only about honouring loss, but about holding space for the courage, pain, and resilience that live on.

In trauma work, I’m often told, “Every day is remembrance.”
It’s a powerful truth , that healing and memory coexist. Today, and every day, we remember. 🌺
🕊️ Let’s take a moment, not just today, but often , to pause, reflect, and reach out.
Whether it’s checking in with a veteran, starting a conversation about mental health, or simply taking time to remember — small acts keep their stories alive and their sacrifices honoured.
