Your mindset is a powerful thing — especially when life feels heavy or uncertain.
Instead of putting pressure on yourself, try practicing self-kindness. 🥰
A simple mantra, repeated throughout your day, can help anchor your mind and soothe your nervous system. 😌

Train your brain to stay calm and choose a mantra that resonates with you. 🔆

How to Find Your Personal Mantra:

✅Select a phrase that speaks to your heart.

✅Choose words that reflect what you need more of — calm, confidence, love, or clarity.

Here are some to get you started:

• I let go of what I cannot change.
• I am surrounded by love.
• I release all doubt and welcome faith.
• My mind is clear and focused.
• I breathe in calm, I breathe out tension.
• Strength flows through me.
• I deserve peace and happiness.

Find the one that feels right for you and repeat it as many times as you like, morning, noon and night.
This small, mindful practice can bring you clarity, balance and peace. 💚

✨ Sometimes we need to make our own rainbows.
When life feels heavy or skies are grey, we can choose to create little sparks of colour—through kindness, appreciation, creativity, or noticing the beauty and love around us. 🌈

✍️ Engaging in drawing activates the parasympathetic nervous system (rest-and-digest), lowering cortisol and calming the fight-or-flight response.

🗣️Talking therapy helps the prefrontal cortex (thinking brain) make sense of overwhelming experiences, reducing the dominance of the amygdala (fear/emotional centre).

🔁 Repeated safe, creative, and reflective practices rewire the brain to respond more calmly to future stressors.

😌 🧠 Drawing activates the right hemisphere (creative, emotional), while talking therapy engages the left (logical, verbal), encouraging whole-brain integration.

Mandalas act as a form of art therapy and can aid emotional healing and processing, allowing us to express and release difficult emotions.

Their balanced, circular structure can help restore a sense of stability when life feels chaotic and overwhelming.

Carl Jung (founder of analytical psychology) drew mandalas himself and believed in their soothing and therapeutic effect on individuals.

I am very excited to publish my new website and so thankful to all of the people who have allowed me to support them with their mental health and wellbeing, over the last 3 years.

I look forward to helping more children, young people and adults over the coming year, through collaborations with schools, North East Wellbeing and other charities and organisations. ✨

After just 12 sessions, adults are better able to understand, express and manage their feelings and reduce emotional outbursts. 📉

This therapeutic support enables adults to respond, rather than react from impulse, restoring calm to homes and workplaces. 😌
