Gertrude Huss - Hill Street Clinic

Dr Gertrude Huss qualified from the University of the Witwatersrand, South-Africa in 1993 having been awarded the Sid Setzer Gold medal award for Paedodontics, she then joined a private dental practice in Johannesburg. Following the success and the demands of her growing cosmetic practice, it became apparent that larger and more appropriate premises were needed. This resulted in her acquiring and creating the exclusive Hill Street Clinic in 2008. In 2012 the clinic was honoured to receive the award as the best Facial Aesthetic Clinic in the United Kingdom from the Journal of Private Dentistry and also received a highly commended award as the most attractive practice. The Hill Street Clinic provides both general and cosmetic dentistry and medical non-surgical cosmetic procedures. Dr Huss is internationally recognised as a prominent practitioner in the medical aesthetic field, being frequently invited to lecture in facial aesthetics and to demonstrate her work techniques at international conferences, such as IMCAS (International Master Conference of Ageing Skin) in Paris, WAC (World Aesthetic Congress) in London and AAMWC (Anti Ageing Medicine World Congress) in Paris and Monaco. She was selected as one of only thirty doctors to form the elite “Group Expert France” doctors for Restylane. As an expert in her field, leading aesthetic pharmaceutical companies request her to participate on their advisory panel. Cited as one of the prominent and expert “Top Twenty doctors in Aesthetics” by the society magazine Tatler. Dr Huss was the highest placed female dentist in the United Kingdom’s “Top Twenty” Dentists, as elected by the Private Dentistry Journal. Similarly she was invited to be one of a small group of experts on the judging panel for the UK’s “Aesthetic Dentistry Awards”, a high profile initiative created to recognise and award clinical excellence in dental and facial aesthetics. Medical and Dental Aesthetic Journals request her to provide written articles on relevant matters. She is on the editorial advisory board for the Journal of Aesthetic Dentistry Today. National and International press frequently request her expertise in both medical and dental aesthetics. Channel Television featured her performing all the cosmetic dentistry and non-surgical medical procedures in their eight episode make-over programme.
