💭Mental Health is very important to us all here at Cornwells.

It’s Mental Health Awareness week this week and we have decided to try and raise as much money as possible for the Mental Health Foundation.

We will be holding a bake sale on Thursday 15th May so why not pop along and treat yourself to a slice of cake 🍰

We also have a game of ‘Guess how many sweets are in the jar’ for £1 a go which will be running from today until Thursday evening 🍬

All monies raised will be going to the Mental Health Foundation 💚

Do you want to be protected over this winter time?

Then great news! We are going to be offering the flu vaccinations in branch from Friday 4th October 📆

The vaccine is FREE to:
- Anyone 65 and over
- Anyone with certain long-term conditions
- Anyone who is pregnant
- Anyone who lives in a care home
- Anyone who is a main carer for an older person or disabled person who receives carer’s allowance
- Anyone living with a weakened immune system

Hello everyone,

Another polite reminder just to say that we are trying our absolute best to get back up to speed on getting our prescriptions ready on time, however, there are days when we have more staff in than others and on the days when we have less staff it is difficult to keep up with the demand.

I know this may be upsetting to you when your prescription is not ready on time but as a pharmacy we do not tolerate abuse of any kind. The staff are trying their hardest to rectify the situation as quickly as possible.

❤️We care about each and every one of our patients and we aim to try and get prescriptions completed within 48 hours of us receiving the prescription from the Drs.

☎️ If you wish to contact the branch before you come down to check on the progress of your prescription so that you don’t have to wait too long once in the building then please feel free to do so. The staff are happy to help.

Good morning everyone,

You may see our staff wearing black today 🖤
This is because the NPA (National Pharmacy Association) are taking action against the potential of many community pharmacies having to close due to funding cuts from the Government.

Obviously, across all of the branches of Cornwells we do not want this to happen. So today the staff will wear black to support the NPA taking action.
