Now having a well deserved sit down with a cuppa at Insomnia Coffee Wildwood before I go set up for group this evening. Whilst in the queue waiting for my coffee I spotted one of my members in the local magazine! 👀👏

Let me introduce myself! 👋

My name is Katie, I’m 32 and your local Slimming World Consultant.

I’m located at Wildwood Community Centre every Tuesday evening just at the end of Wi******er Court. I’ve been a member myself for around 12 years - and worked with Slimming World for six years now 👀 and I LOVE MY JOB!

Here’s some random fun facts ‼️

♥️ I’m a dog mum 🐾 his name is Lincoln

♥️ My favourite meals - Any pasta dishes! 🍝

♥️ I love getting outdoors - in any weather 🌦️

♥️ Wales, 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 especially Snowdonia or Brecon Beacon national parks are my favourite places to explore, rest, get active and to escape too!

♥️ I lost 4 stone with Slimming World

♥️ I own another business called Fido's Trails

♥️ I wont put gravey on my Sunday roast 🤢

♥️ I have a slight fear of butterflies 🦋

Thankyou to Dec at INSOMNIA COFFEE ☕️ for a quick chat and taking some magazines, posters and leaflets off us - in need of a cuppa, definitely pop in to see him! Insomnia Coffee Wildwood 🫖☕️🍶

Are ‘picky bits’ an essential part of your Christmas? 🍽️

Maybe you love to lay on some nibbles for Christmas Eve movie night? Or for a laid-back Boxing Day tea? 🎄

This gorgeous grazing board is a great way to enjoy your favourite Food Optimising-friendly snacks. It also makes a stunning centrepiece, so that’s the New Year’s Eve do sorted, too! 🎉

This festive platter is perfect for parties, buffets or when you’ve simply had enough of cooking!

Slimming World charcuterie wreath recipe
Serves 6
Ready in 20 mins

2 satsumas
1 large bunch of red seedless grapes
4 figs, quartered
4 redcurrant sprigs
large handful of cherry tomatoes on the vine
100g cocktail pickled onions
100g cornichons
4 slices pastrami, visible fat removed, rolled up
4 slices lean ham, visible fat removed, rolled up
40 pistachios, shelled
11 pecan halves
50g mozzarella pearls
40g reduced-fat Cheddar, sliced and cut into star shapes with a cookie cutter
35g Danish blue cheese, cut into thin wedges
4 Ryvita Sesame Crispbreads
3 Finn Crisp Original Round Crispbreads
16 green olives in brine from a jar
fresh rosemary sprigs, to serve

Update on my group - my Tuesday group now has a NEW venue, we are no longer at Beaconside. New venue: Wildwood community centre, Wi******er Ave, ST17 4QY ✨

Here is the list of all groups im doing between now and the end of the year at Wildwood & Castlechurch venues. Hopefully you can find a session that’s suits every week for you to finish of the year.
