Everything You Know About Cholesterol is Wrong. Read This Before Your Next Blood Test.

Don’t panic if your cholesterol is elevated. One number alone doesn’t tell the whole story. Your Total lipid panel: triglycerides, LDL, HDL, reveals the full picture of your heart health.

🥚 Triglycerides – Your Energy Packs
These are tiny packets of energy your body stores after eating. When your levels are above 1.7 mmol/L, it signals high insulin in your body, slowing fat burning and changing your LDL particles.

🚚 HDL – Your Garbage Truck
HDL collects excess cholesterol from your blood. Think of it as your body’s cleanup crew. Higher HDL = healthier blood.

⚖️ LDL – Not All the Same
Pattern A LDL: Large, fluffy, slow-moving, less harmful.

Cholesterol plays a vital role in hormone production, brain health, vitamin D synthesis, and cellular structure.
