What a year 2025 has been for my little business - so many things achieved both with Move + Mend but also personally and I am so excited to see where the next year takes me ✨

A few little highlights:
- New horse and rider combination assessments 🐎
- Moved to Stafford and found a new clinic
- Completed a Sprint Triathlon and transitioned into bodybuilding
- Rebranded, created a website and a booking system (spent far too many hours on this) 😂
- Helped some incredible people

I am so grateful for everyone who has believed in me and my little business which has allowed it to flourish this year 🌱 I could not have done it without you.

2026 is going to be even better with lots of plans in the pipeline….keep your eyes peeled over the next few weeks for snippets of what’s to come 👀

Benefits of a horse and rider assessment 🐎🧲

1. Helps me to identify your posture as well as your horses and the impact you have on each other. I was commonly treating horses but not considering impact of the rider’s posture on the horse’s posture and movement 🐴

2. Muscular asymmetries or imbalances can be spotted which enables specific treatment and exercise prescription ⚖️

3. I can see how you interact and where you or your horse may be struggling.

4. This ultimately makes it easier for me to understand how you are impacting one another and where tension may be held as well as highting asymmetries which means a more tailored treatment for both you and your horse! 🏇

I’m not disputing the benefit of assessing solely the rider or the horse, but in order to work in unison why not assess and treat both simultaneously?

A rather different day in the ‘office’ ❄️

Horse and rider assessments and treatments are now well under way! 🏇

Despite the chilly morning, we completed a full ridden assessment followed by treatment for both horse and rider. The colder weather didn’t put us off thanks to heated blankets, lots of layers and warm oil 🥵

Paddy definitely approved of the massage in the stable for his Mum 😆
