Welcoming Lily and her wonderful treatments to the team here at Spire Hill 🤍
One of the treatments here at Temple of Mahina is the wonderful healing modality of Reiki, originating from Japan.
I’m a Usui Reiki/Master Teacher and have been practising reiki for over a decade now. A lot of people wonder how reiki works, so I thought I’d take this moment to explain and give a little insight in to what your treatment involves.
Reiki is a non-invasive form of healing where the client lays fully clothed, usually covered in a soft, warm blanket on a treatment couch in a dimly lit, aroma filled, calming environment to induce relaxation and rest. The reiki practitioner places hands gently on the body or within the clients aura. Clients experience reiki in various ways; some feel a lovely warmth or tingly, some experience flashes of colours, visions, and feel shifts within the subtle bodies. Some clients may enter a meditative state or fall asleep.
Reiki practitioners don’t actually produce reiki energy, they channel it from source. It works on a resonance level, meaning the practitioner helps the clients energetic vibration reach the higher frequency they are channeling. This then invokes healing in the client as the subtle bodies work to rebalance, clearing energetic blockages.
If you’d like to book a Reiki treatment or are interested in learning this wonderful healing modality, please DM me or send an email to lily@templeofmahina.com ✨
✨ I have 3 appointments available on Friday 18th July at the wonderful Spire Hill Well-Being centre. As a little summery treat, these appointments come with a special introductory offer of £45.00 for 60 minutes of Reiki (including an aura scan) ✨
