Last week some of our Patient Participation Group members met with Dr Sinha, one of our GP partners, and Christine, our Practice Director, for our quarterly meeting.

We discussed things such as:
- Updates to staff/role changes.
- New initiatives for the upcoming year.
- Ideas for improving our BP area in the waiting room.
- Our same day access, booking processes and triage.
- NHS App and Proxy Access.
- Positive feedback received about the practice.

We are always welcoming new patients to join our group, to join in our discussions and provide ideas and initiatives to ensure we continue to provide a great service which meets the needs of all of our patients! Thank you to those who took the time to join us today and to those that provided input both before and after the meeting.

Our next meeting is scheduled for 16th July 2026 at 1:00pm.
All registered patients, aged 16 and over, are welcome to join and we can send a teams link to join remotely if required.

Catch up flu clinics are now running for children who have missed their school vaccine. You can call Intrahealth on 03333583397 to arrange an appointment.

Alternatively, walk-in flu vaccination clinics will be running across our area for school-age children (reception to year 11) who have missed their school vaccine, and for children aged 2โ€“3, giving parents the opportunity to get all the kids vaccinated in one visit.

Thereโ€™s no need to book, just find your nearest pop-clinic, opening dates and times at the following link https://gmintegratedcare.org.uk/childrens-catch-up-flu-vaccination-clinics/

๐Ÿ’™ Day 7 โ€“ Thank you for taking action!

๐Ÿ‘ As World Antimicrobial Awareness Week 2025 comes to a close, we want to say a huge thank you to everyone who joined the movement to Act Now: Protect Our Present, Secure Our Future.

๐ŸŒ Over the past week, weโ€™ve learned that:
โ€ข Every choice matters โ€” from handwashing to responsible antibiotic use.
โ€ข AMR affects us all โ€” humans, animals, and the environment.
โ€ข Together, our small actions add up to big impact.

๐Ÿ’ฌ The week may be ending, but our responsibility continues. Keep talking, keep learning, and keep acting โ€” because protecting antimicrobials means protecting lives.

๐Ÿ’ช Letโ€™s make every week an AMR awareness week!
