E GREEN Animal Physiotherapy Highly recommended, award winning, fully qualified, licenced and insured veterinary physiotherapy. Specialists in equine and canine physiotherapy.

Using a wide range of techniques including physiotherapy, chiropractic techniques and electrotherapy (Laser, PEMF, Therapy Ultrasound) enables me to rebalance the horses skeletal system and ease any soft tissue tension or soreness. This allows me to rehabilitate and maintain health, function, mobility and performance of your animal. Whether your horse or dog is a top competitor or your family pet, I offer treatments for a range of problems including lack of performance, joint and back problems, rehabilitation, muscular injury, strain or soreness, fractures and much more. I have over 25 years experience working with horses of all disciplines, treating top competition horses to happy hacks. My canine customers include competition, working and companion dogs. I work with a chain of leading veterinary practices treating all their rehabilitation cases from spinal issues to orthopaedic problems. I also support a number of equine charities and canine training establishments. I am fully qualified, licensed and insured and I am backed by governing bodies such as IAAT (International Association of Animal Physiotherapists) and can be found in the Register for Musculoskeletal Practitioners (RAMP). The end of another busy week for me and we received this lovely review this week.

Always great to hear feedback about our work and enjoyable to be part of a team that make horses comfortable and excel in their performance.

Have a great weekend all!

Something that is often overlooked is the soft tissue around the horse’s face. Muscles, nerves and fascia in the horse’s head/ face often show us so much about the rest of the horse’s body.

Here we have a patient that required some cranial work and the release of the muscles and fascia on the face.

The first photo shows the tightness of the Interscutularis and Frontoscutularis muscles, the second photos shows them looking softer and the fascia released.

A little before and after from a new clients horse today. Using soft tissue work and skeletal alignment we can see the horse has improved in just one session from the straightness of the topline.

Yes this can be done and yes the horse is stood square on both photographs.

As some of you know I’ve had a nightmare of a situation for the last two weeks with my car. Well we have new wheels now so hopefully work with resume back to normality, and you are now looking out for me in a white vehicle.

I’ve had lots of enquiries over the weekend and will get back to you all asap.

Thanks for your patience.

I CAN GET YOU A DISCOUNT!

Did you know that I am an ambassador for Equilibrium products?

This means not only do I used them on my own horses, but I can assist you with information about their products, and my clients can buy through me and use my ambassador discount.

Let me know if you are interested. Christmas is fast approaching 😁

Like so many people I am supplementing my horses diet in the field by putting hay out, due to the lack of grass, but I do hand graze them on better grasses and shrubs too.

Why is this important? Grass often provides horses with some of the correct amino acids they require.

Amino acids are important for muscle repair and recovery and aid growth and development in young horses.

Other sources of amino acids are available such as Alfalfa, but if like my horses, your horse spends a long time out in the field and usually gets these critical protein building blocks from the forage that is usually available in the field, it’s worth spending time hand grazing on good quilting grasses and plants to help them out.

Give it a try and see what they pick to eat? Lizzie loves to munch on the thistle heads.

So after a full week of physio work, case work (legal work) in the evenings, my horses, my puppy and huge amounts of more car problems, I feel like Ranger looks in this photo tonight. Very glad to see the weekend.

Have a great one Y’all!

‼️‼️‼️ GRAPHIC IMAGES INCLUDED‼️‼️

This horrific injury nearly killed this horse, and chances for him where slim. However just look at how far he has come.

The graphic images show how it began and the others are pictures from today’s treatment visit.

He is back out happily hacking (and often throwing in a few more moves than asked for by all accounts 🥰).
