Our next SEND session will be during half term on Monday 25th May at 1:30pm 💛

We know that no single time works for every family, which is why we try to move our SEND session times around throughout the year so that different families get a chance to attend at a time that suits them.

We also make a conscious effort not to schedule these sessions during our quietest times just for convenience — we want these sessions to feel like a genuine part of everything we offer, not an afterthought.

And, wherever possible, we try to avoid the dreaded “witching hour” too 😅

These sessions have reduced capacity to ensure that everyone is comfortable so if you are planning on coming along please book ahead of time if possible to ensure you have a space.

✨ Reception Meet-Up Sessions ✨

We’re so excited to be bringing these sessions back—designed especially for little ones who will be starting Reception in September 2026 💛

These sessions are a lovely way for children to meet others who will be going to the same school, helping them feel more familiar and confident before that big first day.

This year, we’ve made a couple of changes:
We’ve scaled back the number of schools we’re hosting for, so we can keep sessions smaller and more meaningful
We’re running them on Saturdays (12–2pm) to make it easier for more children to attend

If your child is starting at one of the schools listed, you can now book on and start building those friendships early ✨
Spaces are limited for each session, so we’d recommend booking sooner rather than later.

Our Petting Zoo & Play event with the amazing Lion Learners East Midlands sold out in record time last time—and we can’t wait to bring it back for more little (and big!) animal lovers!

From fluffy rabbits to scaly reptiles and even some creepy crawlies for the brave ones, there’s something for every monster and their grown-up to enjoy.

Join us on Tuesday 26th May for the ultimate half-term kick start! Perfect for children and their adults, this hands-on experience is all about getting up close with some incredible animals in a fun, safe, and exciting environment—plus plenty of play time too!

A small act of kindness can make a big difference 💛

When one of our customers noticed a little girl with autism feeling upset that she couldn’t enjoy the party room the way she usually does, they didn’t look the other way—they made space for her. She was warmly invited in to join the celebration, sharing jelly and ice cream alongside the other children, turning what could have been a difficult moment into a joyful one.

We know situations like this aren’t always easy to navigate, and it’s not always possible—but this moment is a beautiful reminder of the impact of empathy, understanding, and inclusion.

We’re proud to be a centre where everyone is welcome, and where small gestures can help everyone feel they belong 💫

At Mighty Monsters Soft Play, we like to keep things relaxed… for little ones and their grown-ups 💛

One small thing we’re encouraging? Letting go of the word “sorry.”

Of course, kindness and good manners always matter—but you never need to apologise for your child simply being a child. This is a space for exploring, learning, climbing, wobbling, and yes… sometimes getting a bit noisy along the way.

We know it’s easy to feel like you need to say “sorry” for every bump, tumble, or burst of energy—but here, you can take the pressure off a little.

We’re also gently steering away from a few other phrases:
💬 “They’re too much”
💬 “I can’t bring them anywhere”
💬 “That’s embarrassing”

And instead, leaning into:

✨ “They’re finding their way”
✨ “They’re learning”
✨ “It’s all part of growing up”

Mighty Monsters is a welcoming, judgment-free space where families can just be themselves.

So come in, get comfy, and let your little monsters play, explore, and enjoy every moment
