Carers Break

Carers Break Carers' Break Community Interest Company has been established for the purpose of providing a complete care solution for the 21st Century.

Carers Break is a Community Interest Company that provides Companionship & Support, Palliative & 'End of Life' care and all aspects of Domiciliary care whilst enabling the main carer valuable respite, at home throughout Cornwall. As a society there seems to be a gap between the level of care we believe we deserve for ourselves and our loved ones and that which, for many, is actually experienced. Although a Private Limited Company, we are a Community Interest Company. This means that our useable surpluses/profits must be used for the benefit of the Community. We have chosen this route because we believe that 'Personal Care' is far too important to be driven by profit but should be inspired by human compassion. Of course , we understand that any care has to be paid for and every care provider
must be sustainable, but our focus is to provide the very best quality of care possible. Cutting edge, radical and innovative personal care and support that is designed around the cared for and their closest family and friends. Through partnerships and unique collaborations we will provide added value to all our care and support. Our vision is to provide a level of bespoke care that transforms the life of the whole family during some of life's most challenging times. Dealing with and confronting many of the social and economic issues that erode self-esteem, dignity and wellbeing in the family at a time when their sole focus of every family member
is on the critical needs of their loved one. In short, we believe that if you care enough and show it in the most practical, relevant and effective ways, we have it in our gift to change the quality of peoples lives. That is what drives Carers' Break

They say a picture paints a thousand words...Age has no barriers or limitations...we either have empathy or we don't, we either care or not , we either love or not. This is a picture of my son at 8 yrs old asking a poorly family friend if she was going to die...she gently answered him saying..."Yes, but I'm not afraid"... he was moved beyond words. If that's you and you live in Cornwall, we need you to hold someone's hand like he did. enquiries@carersbreak.org.uk or 01726 890828
