Not every thought
deserves a home
in your mind.
Some of them
are just passing clouds—
loud,
convincing,
but not true.
They tell you
you’re not enough.
That you failed.
That things won’t change.
And if you listen
long enough,
they start to feel
like facts.
But they’re not.
They’re just echoes—
of fear,
of past pain,
of moments
that no longer
define you.
And the hardest part
is learning
you don’t have to
hold onto them.
You don’t have to
argue with them either.
You can simply
let them pass.
Like watching a storm
move across the sky
without chasing it.
Because your mind
is powerful—
but it’s not always
kind.
And you get to choose
what you keep.
What you believe.
What you give
your energy to.
So when a thought
tries to pull you down,
pause.
Breathe.
And ask yourself—
“Is this helping me,
or hurting me?”
If it’s hurting,
you don’t owe it
your attention.
Let it go.
Make space
for something softer—
a kinder thought,
a calmer voice,
a reminder
that you’re still growing.
Still learning.
Still becoming.
You deserve more
than the weight
of every negative thought
that passes through you.
You deserve peace
that stays
