Keep Moving Pilates or just find some 'you' time in your busy week. I offer a range of Matwork classes for all levels in groups of 10 or less and private 1-2-1 sessions.

Chloe Nicholson of Keep Moving Pilates is a STOTT PILATES® certified instructor and LSSM qualified Soft Tissue Therapist practising in the Test Valley area of Andover, Stockbridge and Winchester in Hampshire, UK. Are you looking to:
- achieve an athletic goal?
- combat life behind a desk?
- keep moving with confidence as you age?
- learn to support your changing body during pregnancy?
- regain control over you body after childbirth?
- reconnect with your body after a trauma?
- stay fit and healthy? My name is Chloe and I'm a STOTT PILATES® certified instructor practicing in the Winchester, Andover and Stockbridge area of Hampshire. I first studied Pilates whilst attending a professional dance school from the age of 11 and I have seen the technique stand the test of time. STOTT PILATES incorporates modern exercise principles, including contemporary thinking on spinal rehabilitation, fascial integration, muscle conditioning and athletic performance enhancement. I run specialist classes which promote specific physical goals. Using the STOTT PILATES method I can help you achieve your physical goals; whether you're training for a sporting event or just want to maintain and enhance your mobility as you age. The Pilates technique helps target the muscles that have become de-conditioned as a result of our modern lifestyle. I can help you build core strength and address muscle imbalances all the while keeping your spine mobile and achieving balanced strength and flexibility. My philosophy for living is to 'keep moving' because with a strong foundation in dance, my passion for posture and by utilising modern principles of exercise science, I believe the way you move is the key to a happy and healthy life.

Did you know there are things you can be doing now to reduce the health risks associated with menopause? 30% of women experience no symptoms as they transition into the third phase of womanhood - their periods just stop - but that leaves 70% of women who may be suffering. ⬆️Link in Insta bio for tickets⬆️

I have heard from women about losing 3 years of their lives not understanding why they can no longer cope with every day activities. Let our generation be the one that changes this; women should not have to suffer in silence. Let us talk and support each other; learn and be prepared; know there is help available and where to find it.

This talk is taking place this coming Monday at 7pm BST and you can join on Zoom! I met the speaker, Camilla Lawrence, Women's Health Physiotherapy, over a year ago and after our first meeting I knew I wanted to organise some talks to help share her specialist knowledge. She is experienced, she is engaging, she can make you feel comfortable talking about the most awkward of subjects and in her talks she strikes the perfect balance between funny and serious.

I encourage you to join this important next talk we are holding about the peri to post-menopausal journey. Whether your peri-menopause journey has not yet started but you want to prepare for the changes ahead; if you are in the thick of peri-menopause and want to learn how to manage your symptoms; or if you are post-menopause and want to know what you can be doing to look after your body in your third phase of womanhood - there will be something for everyone.

will be covering the questions below plus more as she shares her specialist knowledge to help us understand our bodies better and prepare for the future. You will have the chance to ask your own questions in the Q&A session at the end.
• What exactly is the peri-menopause/menopause?
• What are the main symptoms to watch out for?
• Are there any associated health risks?
• How can I best prepare for and navigate this?

Please contact me with your email address if you would like to purchase 7 days access to the Zoom recording of this excellent talk to learn how to take care of your bladder, bowel and pelvic floor at every stage of life. [For a limited time only].

This is a talk all women should watch. The statistics Camilla shares of how many women experiencing issues are surprisingly high and highlights how many of us suffer in silence - perhaps not knowing that help is available. It is encouraging to learn that there is so much we can all be doing to help manage or prevent the issues that develop from pelvic floor dysfunction.
🎦
Thank you to for an excellent and informative evening. I was sent the feedback below from a local GP who attended the event which sums up my feelings perfectly:
"Thank you for organising the talk this evening. I thought Camilla was brilliant! She explained everything so clearly and gave really easy-to-follow advice.
I was astounded by some of her facts & figures too - and I learnt a couple of things I didn’t know!"

There are 2 weeks to go in my Pi-Lent-es 2024 challenge! Over the past 4 weeks an amazing 97 of my Pilates clients have been building the habit of doing body maintenance exercise every day. 💪🧘‍♂️💪🧘💪🧘‍♀️

I believe Lent should be seen as an opportunity for building good habits rather than focusing on bad habits or abstinence. The goal is to build the habit rather than any particular fitness goal and the WhatsApp group is for accountability.

Here are the guidelines for my clients who have joined the Pi-Lent-es Challenge 2024:
1) You can either do the exercise I post or your own exercise: a rehab programme you are working on; strengthening or stretching exercise(s) of your choice
2) Cardio or sport exercise does not count - it must be maintenance exercise - so not walking, running, horse riding, swimming, cycling, tennis, etc.
3) You can do the exercise any time of day that suits you
4) Once you have completed please add an emoji to my post that day
5) There will be no shaming for missing a day - the group is for accountability and encouragement to achieve the goal of building the habit
