Something I often hear in the therapy room is 'I don't want to burden my family or friends with my problems'. It can be tough being vulnerable with your loved ones. Maybe you think they don't have time or can't cope with your troubles. Actually, it could be that they are worried too and are fearful of approaching you. Therapy can help you to practice being open which helps you develop closer relationships with the important people in your life. Then you can teach others how to share their loads.
