Important Update for Our Patients 📢

From 29th October 2025, you’ll need to order your repeat prescriptions directly from your GP practice and not through your local pharmacy.

The NHS App is the quickest, safest, and easiest way to request your repeat prescriptions. Using the app means:
✅ More control over your healthcare
✅ Less paperwork
✅ No need to make a trip to the practice just to order

👉 Find out more and download the app here: www.nhs.uk/nhsapp

If you, or someone you care for, may find it difficult to order prescriptions yourself, please let us know as soon as possible so we can help. 💙

Download the NHS App, or open the NHS website in a web browser, to set up and log in to your NHS account. Owned and run by the NHS, your NHS account is a simple and secure way to access a range of NHS services online.

Cases of measles, mumps and rubella (MMR) are increasing. These illnesses can spread quickly but are preventable with the MMR vaccine.

If you or your child have not had the full course of two MMR vaccines, it’s not too late to catch up. The vaccine is safe, effective, and available free through the NHS.

Please contact the practice to check your vaccination record or to book an appointment.

This September is Urology Awareness Month 💙

The focus this year is “Bladder Leakage: Time to Act”. Did you know one in five people in the UK are affected by bladder problems, and one in three women live with bladder leakage?

Causes can include menopause, childbirth, urinary tract infections, urology cancers, or ongoing conditions after surgery. With an ageing population, these numbers are expected to rise.

Bladder leakage can have a big impact on daily life and mental health. Let’s work together to raise awareness and support those affected.

Blood cancer is the fifth most common cancer in the UK, but many people are unaware of the signs. Symptoms can include tiredness, night sweats, unexplained weight loss, unusual bruising, or persistent infections. These can often be mistaken for other conditions.

If you are experiencing ongoing symptoms that don’t feel normal for you, please contact the practice to book an appointment. Speaking to a GP and getting checked early can make a real difference.

We are here to help, don’t ignore changes in your health❤
