Completing our team of sports massage superstars we’re thrilled to introduce Iona Yuill 🤩

Iona values functional movement and the crucial role of massage in maintaining and enhancing it. With a Level 3 sports massage certification, she has experience of working a diverse clientele, aiding in sports recovery, managing everyday strain, as well as providing rehabiliatation for people with neurological conditions.

Boasting 18 years’ experience in the health and fitness realm, Iona’s career has spanned across New Zealand, Cyprus, and Switzerland, working as a sports massage therapist, physiotherapy assistant, personal trainer, and ski instructor. Currently, back in the UK, she is honing her expertise while pursuing a BSc. degree in Physiotherapy at Manchester Metropolitan University.

Her natural caring demeanour, coupled with extensive anatomical knowledge, human movement insights, and refined manual therapy techniques, ensures that Iona delivers effective treatments, which she aims to make tailored to individual goals, be it pain relief, relaxation, or preparation for an upcoming workout.

We’re delighted to introduce Maria Fuentes Conde to our team. Maria is a VCTC qualified and fully insured sports massage therapist. Previously a competitive swimmer, she has always found massage not only relaxing but also essential for injury prevention and optimal performance.

As a sports massage therapist, Maria is keen to enhance movement using a variety of techniques tailored to individual needs, including deep tissue, myofascial release, trigger point therapy, general stretches, and muscle energy techniques.

Maria has a degree in Sports Science & Human Physiology from the Manchester Metropolitan University, and recently completed a MSc in Sport & Exercise Biomechanics, deepening her understanding of the human body.
