Here’s my accountability week 31:
Subtraction theory 😊
This post isn’t about how I’ve been adding to my day or week to recharge, such as meeting up with friends, focusing on my hobbies, or making time for self-care. Instead, it’s about how I have been looking at what I can remove, so when I am doing nice things, I’m not worrying about my to-do list. I have been building a subtraction habit.
For the past few months, at the beginning of each week, I look in my diary and decide what I will remove so I can make time for the things I want to do. Sometimes I really need to think hard about it, because everything feels important and necessary, but you know, I always find something, whether this be 15-30 minutes or even on the odd occasion a whole day.
