In my book, I suggest you dedicate just 15 minutes a day to de-frazzling your NHS job.

Here’s why…

👉 It works
Research shows that small, consistent actions can reduce stress and improve how manageable work feels.

👉 15 minutes is probably all the time you have!
If you work in the NHS, whether clinically or non-clinically, anything more than 15 minutes would probably be too much.

👉 It adds up
15 minutes a day is 1 hour and 45 minutes a week!

👉 Small wins matter
Tiny changes build a habit of looking at ways to improve your working day.

When my life was particularly challenging, I didn’t struggle as much with knowing what to change; my challenge was sticking to it.

👉 I knew how to say no, but I always found myself saying yes
👉 I knew how not to be a people-pleaser, but I still continued to be one
👉I knew how to set boundaries, but I often didn’t
The list goes on and on.

That was until I started applying simple, tried-and-tested quality improvement and change tools and techniques, tailoring them to my situation.

My book, De-frazzle Your NHS Job, includes a dedicated section to ensure that the changes you make are not only the right ones but are sustainable in the long term.
