Few hours following Daycase Left Total Knee Replacement surgery at Nuffield Health Tees Hospital today. Well done to this motivated Gentleman and the wonderful Nuffield Tees team 🙌 👏

This Gentleman had a similar daycase right Total Knee Replacement surgery last year under my care at Nuffield Hospital. He made excellent recovery and was back to normal activities within weeks.

Interestingly, he lives about 100 miles away from Nuffield Tees Hospital and got admitted, operated and discharged home on the same day. That is some achievement 👏

3 hours post Right Total Knee Replacement at Nuffield Tees Hospital today.

This motivated and wonderful gentleman had daycase right Total Knee Replacement surgery today. This is him 3 hours after surgery mobilising in the ward this morning. Well done to him👏

He had similar daycase knee replacement surgery on the left knee last year. Both under my care.

Great teamwork from the wonderful ward team, theatre team and physiotherapy teams.. well done ALL.👏👏👏

One of my Happy patients sent this before and after video, a few weeks following left knee replacement surgery. She had severe left knee valgus deformity (knock knee) before surgery, which was more obvious when she was walking and was painful. We managed to correct the deformity at the left knee with knee replacement surgery and more importantly, the left knee pain settled following surgery. The first part of the video is before surgery and the second part is after surgery.
