🌵An Update from Happy Cactus Coaching 🌵

We wanted to share an important update with our Happy Cactus community.

After a lot of careful thought, we have made the very difficult decision to close Happy Cactus
Coaching at the end of February 2026.

For a while now, we’ve been able to continue our work by sharing our building and rental costs
with another business. They will be moving on, and unfortunately without that shared arrangement, along with rising running costs over recent years, we’re no longer able to continue in the space on our own.

Alongside this, we are experiencing increased family and work commitments, which means we’re not able to give the organisation the time and energy it deserves moving forward.

We want to reassure all our members that all sessions will continue to run as normal right up
until the end of February 2026.

Happy Cactus has always been about the young people, families, and supporters who believed in
what we were creating. We are so proud of what has grown here since we opened in 2018, and of
the many young people we’ve been lucky enough to support along the way.

We understand this news may be difficult for some of our members. Our coaches will be available during sessions in February to talk things through with young people and offer reassurance and support if needed.

Thank you for your kindness, understanding, and continued support — it truly means so much to us.

🏋Helping young people talk about the things that make them great, is really important.

😫Especially as they start a new school year.

😍This week our sessions encouraged our young people to identify their strengths and talk about the times when they have used their strengths to cope with something difficult.

🤗Our sessions are usually simple and designed to provoke quality conversations with young people that help build their confidence and their resilience.

🚀It's not rocket science, but it is so important that young people have safe space to talk.

👋 Meet the team helping your child thrive! We are Natalie and Michelle, and we founded Happy Cactus Coaching to change how young people receive mental health support. Grounded in kindness, we embed what works from mental health services into gym activity that really helps young people build their confidence.
