A new night shelter is now open in Burslem, providing a safe place to stay for people experiencing rough sleeping.

It’s open from 8pm each evening and can accommodate up to 9 people.

We’ve commissioned the service to provide immediate safety and support, while helping individuals move away from rough sleeping and into longer-term accommodation.

If you or someone you know needs a safe place to stay, please contact the Rough Sleeper Outreach Service team on 0800 970 2304 or call the our housing team on 01782 234234 who can support with access to the service.

We remain committed to supporting vulnerable residents while working to address unauthorised encampments compassionately and sustainably.

However, our ANP Jane will be at Hanley Connect (Hillcrest Street) until 1pm.

Welcoming Matt to the fold for the next few weeks, who will be driving the COV for us.

He’s a bit bonkers, so fits in just nicely with us😌

➡️ Goodfellow Street, Tunstall (carpark at the back of the Salvation Army) 2pm-4pm 🚑

➡️ Unfortunately there is no clinic tonight at Burslem Night Shelter 6pm-8pm - apologies for this 🙏
