Did you know - There is some new guidance being introduced this year, including a new technique for treating a choking baby.
Administer up to 5 back blows, between the shoulder blades, then, with one thumb on top of the other, administer up to 5 sharp, chest thrusts in the centre of the chest. Repeat these two options until the object comes out or the baby becomes unconscious, then start CPR.

Did you know - There are some new guidelines being introduced this year, including a new technique for doing chest compressions on a baby, using one thumb on top of the other, in the centre of the chest.
Compress one third of the chest depth at a speed of about 2 per second.
