Feeling like your brain is just so full of “stuff”?

Brain dumping can be really helpful to organise everything that is going around in your head.

Visually seeing it written out in front of you can make things feel lighter and for you to see things more clearly.

It can also help you to see things that you may have pushed aside that is causing unnecessary stress and discomfort until they are managed in a healthy way.

Juggling everything in your head is a one way ticket to burn out so write it out, colour code, order ect and reduce the busyness that is building inside your mind and feel the relief. Be kind to your mind 🤍

Hoping everybody has had a great start to their week and had a restful weekend! 🤍

I have been extremely busy the past few weeks and I’ve struggled to fit any CPD in.

However, I managed to get some completed this afternoon with the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP). It was really interesting to listen to and work through for both topics.

Two Years Old Today 🤍

Two years ago I opened my private practice after many years of counselling within organisations. Alongside my school counselling I was excited to be back working with adults again and using different skills.

It was terrifying - wondering if I would be “good enough?”, “would people like me?” and that was even before I began learning to understand how business works - including the dreaded tax!

However, this is one of the proudest achievements in my career and I am very lucky to be consistently building something I love. Having the opportunities to work with the most courageous clients all over the world is unbelievable and I am very thankful.

I am extremely excited to see where the next year takes me including my own garden office - not far off completion now eeek!

Dream, believe, work hard and achieve, and you can be anything.
