Progress isn’t about being “on” all the time, it’s about being human.

If today feels half-full (or even nearly empty), that doesn’t mean you’re failing. It means you’re listening to your capacity and that’s an act of self-care.

The darkest weeks of the year are behind us. If this season felt heavy, that’s not a weakness, it’s a human response to a hard time of year.

Dark nights, dark mornings can affect mood, energy and motivation, but know that spring isn’t to far away now. (I can’t wait!)

As light returns slowly, we move forward and so does energy and hope. Be gentle with yourself as it does.

Today I played in the snow with my two girls and made a snowman. It was lots of fun and even in the cold, the amount of laughter we shared was so heart warming.

Moments like these remind me how powerful play can be, not just for children; but for our inner child too.

There’s something about playing in the snow that can naturally bring our inner child to the surface. The part of us that knows how to be present, curious, and joyful without needing a reason.

When we allow ourselves to play even for a moment, we’re offering that part of us permission to exist again without responsibility, expectation, perfectionism or pressure that us as adults can often feel.

It’s been a very snowy day here for me and very cold brrrr! đŸ„¶

A gentle reminder that it’s okay to feel all the feels especially after the Christmas break.

For many the Christmas ‘come down’ can feel heavy, grief can feel painful and seeing others seemingly happy or moving on can stir up difficult emotions.

It’s completely normal to feel tired, sad or even a bit lost as the holiday glow fades.

Be gentle with yourself and take small moments to breathe, rest, and acknowledge what you’re feeling without judgment.

Healing and adjustment don’t follow a set timeline, and it’s okay to ask for support if you need it - I’m only a message away. đŸ€

We’ve just closed the chapters of 2025 and have just begun the first of 2026.

A new year doesn’t mean everything changes overnight, but it can mean you are given space to rewrite. To choose differently and to respond with more compassion toward yourself.

You are not required to carry every chapter from the past with you. Some pages were lessons, some were healing, and some were simply meant to end.

As December draws to a close, it’s a gentle reminder to pause and acknowledge just how far you’ve come this year of 2025.

This year may have asked more of you than anyone else knows of. You kept going on days that felt impossibly heavy and you showed up even when strength felt scarce.

That takes determination and courage that you may not have realised you had, even when it didn’t feel like it at the time. Getting through each day was an act of resilience that has led to you to this point now.

If you find your self needing support as one year closes and another begins, you don’t have to carry it alone. đŸ€
