As we say goodbye to September , here are a few photos of our time together. From fishy fun in the blue rice to planting in the compost . Gloop,cress heads, musical instruments and songs to quiet reading and puzzles.
We welcome October .. autumnal and full of colour and adventure. Come and join us for a cuppa and see what surprises we have planned 🍂🍁

Here comes the rain as we start our summer holidays , but we ended our first year in the sunshine with a teddy bear theme .
We decorated wooden bears , sorted jelly bears into colours in the messy play tray. We dressed teddies and even ate teddy shaped toast and crisps for our snack . We added raisin eyes to our teddy toast to make it more fun !
We went on a Bear hunt and enjoyed bubble play and parachute fun too.
On behalf of myself and Ange , we would like to thank you all for your support this year since taking on Little Doves .
Whether you donated toys or craft items to us , handed out leaflets and spread the word that we are here .. to the parents/carers and of course , the wonderful children that came to see us each week.
Good luck to those leaving us 😍
And for everyone else , we will see you in September ❤️

We hope that you are staying safe in this glorious sun shine .
The last 2 sessions have been linked to summer with an icecream theme followed by at the beach.
The children loved playing in the messy play ice cream tray ,making ice cream in the role play shop and making sponge ice lollies . We even enjoyed a lolly at story time.
This week we had sand play with buckets and spades , decorated our own sand castles with sand , decorated donkey biscuits and collaged buckets and spades .

Last week , we had a pirate theme with floating and sinking in the water play, dressing up and sailing in the wash basket boats with treasure maps and pirate masks.
We coloured wooden boats and enjoyed bubble time .
See you tomorrow on what is expected to be a hot day .

Thank you for coming to play today with our Ocean themed morning .
The children made bubble wrap star fish , enjoyed the blue rice sea and creatures in the messy play tray. They explored the ocean fish in our small world area and fished with magnetic rods. We finished with bubble blowing ,songs and a story about keeping our beaches and oceans clean .
A fun morning had by all🎣🐠🐡🐟

Wishing you all a Lovely Father’s Day what ever you are doing or who ever you are celebrating with xx
The children loved painting their hand or foot last week to create a lasting memory.
They also washed cars like Daddy in the messy tray and enjoyed a story called Daddy Hairdo 💇‍♀️

Hey guys
Hope you all had a fab half term break.
A reminder that due to inset days in the area , we are closed tomorrow but back to fun next week.
We hope that your sunflower seeds are starting to grow tall.

Thank you to our Little Doves family for joining us this week.
Our theme was Colour .. we played with rainbow coloured pasta in the messy play and finger painted our beautiful coloured rainbow mobiles.
We enjoyed making an ‘April showers brings May flowers’ umbrellas as we welcome the Sunny month of May.
We coloured wooden umbrellas with the acrylic pens and dressed up , sang songs and had a story full of colour.
